THEATREFEST, a weeklong theatrical competition, that brings troupes from all over the province to compete for awards, has come to and end.

The competing troupes came from Indian Head, Moose Jaw, Regina, Yorkton, Balgonie, the Battlefords, and our own Crocus 80 was the first to compete on April 1. 

Saturday, April 7, after the last production the awards ceremony took place, and, was open to the public.  

CROCUS 80 THEATRE's Troupe was awarded the MARGARET CORBETT ASPIRANT AWARD:  offered to novice participant(s), who, show remarkable progress, and for out-standing achievement on the part of the newcomer(s) to the Festival Experience.
