The University of Saskatchewan is holding its spring convocation this week at TCU Place in Saskatoon.

The U of S Spring Convocation this year involves a total of 3,419 students

The graduation ceremony for Students attending the Department of Agriculture and Bioresources goes today at 2 pm.

One of the Ag graduates today is Andrew Reddekopp he was raised in the farming community of Hepburn, Saskatchewan.

He is graduating with Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in agronomy with a minor in agribusiness.

He earned 17 scholarships, bursaries and awards during his four years at the U of S and is already a partner in a company, helping establish Westgreen Crop Inspections and Agriculture Advisories Services.

Also today the honorable Roy Romanow will be installed as Chancellor.

Romanow served in public office in Canada for more than 30 years, including as Premier of Saskatchewan from 1991 to 2001.

He is also a Senior Fellow in Public Policy in the Department of Political Studies at the U of S.
