Heritage Village is a replica of a village community from the turn of the century all the way up to the 1940s.

But residents and visitors won't need to use a time machine to visit this old town when it is so conveniently located right here in Weyburn.

All of the old buildings and artifacts make up an incredible collection that is sure to bring your senses back in time as you take in all of the memories, stories, and memorabilia from a much more simple time not all that long ago.

With the current COVID-19 restrictions Heritage Village is now open for in-person tours. Those interested in taking part can register for a tour through the City’s online booking portal. Tours are limited to immediate household bubbles of six or fewer people only.

When visiting, all current provincial COVID-19 protocols and public health orders must be followed such as mandatory masking and physical distancing of two meters, as well as mandatory contact tracing check-in before entry.

While you are there you can enjoy the beautiful garden areas created and maintained by volunteer Joan Drouillard-Honig. Donations are accepted.

"We do have our Pioneer Kids Club which will be open for registration on June 15th," told Taylor Rooney, Summer Student Tour Coordinator. "This is for ages five to 10 and it will take place on Thursdays during the month of July. There are only eight spots available for each session so make sure you sign up early."

Heritage Village is located at 430 10th Ave. SE, and parking is available.

The hours of operation are Monday to Sunday 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM.

There are five tour times each day till August 27, 2021:

• 9 – 10:15 a.m.
• 10:30 – 11:45 a.m.
• 1:15 – 2:30 p.m.
