The camping season in Saskatchewan will be delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Fresh off the announcement that provincial parks in Saskatchewan won’t open as scheduled this year, Nickle Lake Regional Park has also announced they will be delaying their opening, as they follow the lead of the province.

Those who have a reservation for May or June will have their sites cancelled in the coming weeks, and the fees will either be refunded or used as a credit towards a future camping trip. Then, each month will be looked at on a month by month basis until the parks are allowed to open.

At this time, reservations are still open for July and August, but this could change at any time. For those who do seasonal camping, the fees will be prorated once an opening date is determined.

More information will be available on the Nickle Lake Regional Park website as it becomes available.
