Yesterday marked a century of Kin Canada providing services to communities all across the country, from coast to coast. This was celebrated with a flag-raising at City Hall by the Weyburn Kins Club yesterday.

The group also celebrated a Day of Kindness as well, marking the eighth annual Day of Kindness for the Kinsmen. The group takes the day to give back to the community for free as well as reflecting on what can be done to help.

The Kins Club gets involved with several different programs across the community.

"We get really involved with the blood services," said former president of the Weyburn Kins Club, Adrian Prybylski. "They actually have the different divisions of the kinsmen compete to see who gives the most blood."

He adds that they are thankful for all that the community does and that they are happy to give back where they can.
