Team South East is enjoying fifth day at the Saskatchewan Summer Games in Estevan

As of midafternoon, The Southeast has 25 medals, tied with the southwest.

They include 6 gold, 6 silver, and 13 bronze.

So far, Saskatoon leads the way with 55 medals. Regina has 43, and Prairie Central 29.

Many of Weyburn's medals came from the water, including a gold in the pool, and for bronze in the canoe and kayak events.

Hannah Mantei took bronze in the 200m female backstroke. Aden Dickenson won bronze in the male 100m fly. The Southeast A relay team took bronze in the 4x100m female freestyle. Dickenson added to his personal medal count with the gold medal in the make 100m backstroke.

In the canoe and kayak events, the athletes from the southeast, who are all from the Weyburn area, also found success. Drew Barsness and Savannah Pohl took the bronze in the C-2 4000m mix. The K-2 1000m female bronze was taken by Lorynn Labbie and Savannah Pohl. The K-2 4000m male bronze was won by Erik Barsness and Mason Thackeray. Arliss Sidloski and Alexis Vandermay won the c-2 female 4000m bronze.
