As Mark Bratrud of Bratrud Ag Advisory Services explains dry areas in western Canada are going to be a factor and if his production estimates come to fruition, Bratrud said to expect $8 to $9 for new crop. Meanwhile, Bratrud said a big pulse crop in India and Aussie competition is putting pressure on Canadian pulse crops.  Bratrud said mustard acres may actually increase this year and we should watch for a slight increase in canaryseed.
