A 22 year-old Weyburn woman is facing numerous traffic offences after an accident that knocked off cable to about 1,000 Weyburn customers during the Canada/U.S. gold medal game.
No date has been given yet for the court date. The woman has been charged with driving without due care and attention, running a stop sign, and using a hand-held cell phone while driving. Police says her driver's license has been suspende pending the court date. Damage as a result of the accident on the corner of 16th Street and Coteau Avenue, according to Access Communications is in the ten's of thousands of dollars. |
